Privacy policy

Rose & Reed (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit rosenreed.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

  • Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and the contents of any message you send us.
  • Order details: the items you buy, the amount, and your payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on our secure payment partners’ pages. We do not see or store them.
  • Technical information: your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and the website you came from. This is collected through cookies and similar tools.

3. How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your orders, send order and shipping updates, and handle exchanges, refunds and support requests.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
  • To improve our website, products and services.
  • To send you offers or news by email or SMS, only if you agree. You can opt out at any time.
  • To meet legal and tax obligations.

4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with those who help us run the store, and only what they need:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders.
  • Payment gateways and banks, to take your payment.
  • Courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order.
  • Analytics and advertising tools, which help us understand how the site is used.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store may not work properly without them.

6. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires (for example, for tax and accounting records).

7. How we protect it
Our store runs on Shopify’s secure platform, and payments are made over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No online service is completely risk-free, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your rights
Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct or update it.
  • Delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Stop sending you marketing messages.

To make a request, email care@rosenreed.com. We will reply within a reasonable time, and no later than 30 days.

9. Children
Our store is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown below.

12. Grievance and contact
For questions or complaints about your data, write to care@rosenreed.com (Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm IST). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
